The Story Behind Our Name
Our name is inspired by the beautiful promise found in Psalm 23: “He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul.” Restoration of our soul begins when we allow God to take the lead in our lives. As our Shepherd, He guides us out of the chaos of daily life and into a space of true rest and renewal.

Where to park: We have plenty of parking in our large front parking lot, with wheelchair- friendly spaces close to the front entrance.

What should I wear?
Come exactly as you are! You’ll see a bit of everything here. At our 8:30 a.m. traditional service, people tend to dress up a bit more, while our 10:30 a.m. contemporary service is more casual. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.

What activities are there for
kids?
We love families! Nursery is available all three hours of Sunday mornings (8:30, 9:30, and 10:30) with paid nursery staff. Also, KidsWorship (walking toddlers through grade 5) is available during both morning worship services. Note: Register your child prior to the start of the worship service and bring them into worship with you, and Kids Worship participants will be dismissed after the opening songs to go with their leaders to Kids Worship. At 9:30am, we have studies for all ages, including for kids.

To register your child before any Kids Ministry program, look for our electronic KidCheck station in the front lobby. Registering your child will give you peace of mind by helping our Kid Ministry leaders know of any special needs or allergies, emergency contact info, and provides a receipt to retrieve your child following an event.

Our 8:30 a.m. Traditional Service features classic hymns, traditional liturgies, and a message.

Beyond Sunday: How do I get involved?
We believe that every person has a distinct purpose. Beyond Sunday mornings, the people of Stillwater Church are extremely active throughout the week through life-giving small groups and a variety of hands-on service opportunities such as our Food Pantry (Mon), Scouts (Mon), Celebrate Recovery (Tue), Resale Store (Wed-Sat), and our Backpack Ministry (weekdays) in the Saraland Schools, in addition to dozens of other groups.
We believe that every person has a distinct purpose.
